System Description:
Engineered wood applied over an acoustical isolation mat, which is applied over Fiberock underlayment. The Fiberock underlayment is applied over FORTACRETE® Structural panels fastened to cold-formed steel joists with corrosion resistant self-tapping flat head screws,
spaced 6" o.c. at the perimeter and 12" o.c. in the field of the panel. Glass fiber
insulation, 3 1⁄2" thick minimum, friction fit and supported by RC-1 Channels spaced
12"o.c. maximum, fastened to the bottom of the joist. Two layers of 5⁄8" SHEETROCK® Brand FIRECODE C-Core, base layer fastened 12"o.c. and face layer fastened 8" o.c.,
with end joints centered between RC-1 Channels and fastened with Type-G screws,
end joints staggered. All joints finished. |
