System Description:
Carpet and carpet pad applied over FORTACRETE® Structural Panels fastened to cold-
formed steel joists, 16 gauge minimum, with corrosion resistant self-tapping flat head
screws, spaced 6" o.c. at the perimeter and 12" o.c. in the field of the panel. Glass
fiber insulation, 3 1⁄2" thick minimum, friction fit and supported by RC-1 Channels
spaced 12"o.c. maximum, fastened to the bottom of the joist. One layer of 5⁄8"
SHEETROCK Brand FIRECODE C-Core, fastened 8"o.c., end joints staggered and all
joints finished. |
